This wraps up my Project 365. This was an incredible experience and I couldn’t have completed it without the support of my friends and family. Thanks everyone for all the encouragement throughout the last year, it really made a difference. When I began this project a year ago I was feeling like I had lost my creative muse and at the same time was at very uncreative point in my life. Now that my muse has come back to me and I have gained a new vision, I will do whatever it takes to keep my muse with me. A special thanks to my wife Michele who has always been my greatest source of encouragement.
Cheers everyone!
I'll be taking a photo a day for the next year and place the images on this blog. This is a way for me to become a better photographer and will force me to dig deeper to expand my vision.

Day 364
I ran through all of my favorite spots to take pictures in my mind and decided on the Ste. Michelle Winery for my second to last day in this P365. This is the fountain where I’ve taken many shots. But I wanted to do something a little different this time and concentrate on large graphic areas, repeating shapes and balance. As usal, when I go to Ste. Michelle, I end up with too many choices for my final image...... I choose this one for the mood.

Day 363
I caught this barn cat taking advantage of the sun today at Farrel McWhirter Park in Redmond. This is pretty much right off the sensor with a couple of tweaks. I could tell from the other captures that this little guy had a problem with his right eye, it was a little cloudy. So I have to touch that up a bit.

Spring is trying really hard here in the Pacific Northwest but Winter is still holding on.

Day 361

It took me 361 days but I finally got a snowboarder shot. Here’s a shot from Holy Oly up at Hyak today. I’m a rank amateur at snowboarding photography so this by no means a great photo. There are so many shooters that live and breath this stuff that are so beyond me, that I really can’t compete. But for my equipment and the flat lighting at the hill today, this turned out OK. The Method is spot on and the colors are nice other than that it’s not anything I’m going to quit my job over.

Day 360
My friend Andrew came in to say good bye today because he’s leaving to work somewhere else. As a parting gift I let him choose my POD from the 7 shots I has in my quick selection queue.

Day 357
Selfies are a crapshoot for me, either they turn out really nice or they look like crap. So when I get something I like, I use it. This may be the last selfie of my P365, we shall see.

Day 356
One thing that I’ve learned during the past year of working on my P365 is when the weather is bad outside, it’s time to get out and shoot. There are lots of compositional rules being broken here but it still seems to work. There’s also something very French about this shot that I’m really drawn to.

Day 355

I had to do a quick shoot this morning before helping some friends with their website. This is the second time I’ve shot these dead flowers in the backyard so I kind of knew what I wanted to do. To develop this I started with a preset I’ve been developing called family heirloom. This has an Art Nuevo feeling in that in that it draws it’s beauty from nature.

Day 354

Attempting to do something different with an icon. The Space Needle was actually being lit up against the dark clouds in the background so I didn’t have to do much to make this work.

Day 353
We went to a exotic animal farm in the rain today. What a mess but I was able to take some fun pictures. They had kangaroos, wallabies, alpacas, lamas and ostriches. This Michele feeding an alpaca.
